D&D Encounters: Undermountain

It's not every day, you get a chance to die a heroic death.  With the new D&D Encounters, it's just once a week.

Each Wednesday, players participate in a one-encounter D&D play session lasting about 1-2 hours. As they play through the ongoing mini-campaign, they earn Renown Points for their accomplishments which are tracked to earn exclusive in-game rewards cards included in the kit. After each season completes, a new mini-campaign starts, set in another exciting world of adventure.

Explore lost passages of the infamous Undermountain dungeon as you play through the mini-campaign Halaster’s Lost Apprentice! 1st-level characters are provided, or you may create a 1st-level character for play. As a special bonus this season, characters created are compatible with Living Forgotten Realms! Character creation rules for this season will be available by March 10 on the Official D&D Group .

If you would be interested in DM'ing a session, please let Katie know.

Columbia War Gamers Guild

This organization is for local war gamers to meet and find opponents.  The guild, run by Mark Runyon, wants to organize both two-player and multi-player conflict games of many varieties -- from traditional hexagonal-map-and-cardboard-counters games to painted fantasy naval miniatures and wooden-block games, and even, yes...war-oriented card games.
