As many of you will no doubt have heard, the Gate suffered heavy smoke damage from the fire upstairs at El Maguey. While we cannot be open or host any tournaments IN the store for a while....our pre-release has not been cancelled.
Yes, that's right, our Rise of the Eldrazi pre-release will happen on Saturday, April 17th starting at 11 am as planned. It is just the location has changed. The tournament will now be held at the old Bellacino's restaurant at 3301 West Broadway business park. This is near Hyvee and Shakespeare's west.
If possible, please bring cash or checks to pay the registration fee of $30. We can take credit cards but it will be with an old-fashioned, credit card imprinter and carbon copies, which is not fast or efficient.
We will have sodas and candy bars for sale for cash only. A soda or a candy bar is a $1.00 just like in the store.
